Description

The March Full Moon will be the full moon in Virgo. Virgo is the sign of the healer, and so this full moon brings a physical, mental, emotional and spiritual life review to help you release all that keeps your wellbeing out of alignment. Very much connected with the earth, this moon wants you to return to a place of feeling grounded, rooted, stable and secure in your life. Virgo is also practical and organized, so this time will help you sort through any other areas of your life that have been making you feel anxious or frustrated and bring about an urge to declutter your life. Virgo loves lists, structures, rituals and routines. Because of these traits make sure that you put daily self-care and healing practices into your schedule to support you during these changes.

The astrological new year begins on the New Moon on March 21st. For my moon circles this year we will be begin using a moon journal to help guide you in gaining a better understanding of the moon cycles and how you can use it to create your intentions and the life you want. Through journaling, we can find clarity, answers and the real truth of what is going on for each of us.

My intention for using a moon journal during my circles is so you can relate to your own inner thoughts and begin to develop a more personal relationship with the moon and her guidance and wisdom. In each circle we'll be discussing how to use the journal and what you should be focusing on during each phase. Journaling with the moon helps to develop a more personal relationship with yourself and your inner psyche using the wisdom and guidance of the moon to access your intuition and connect you back to yourself and who you truly are.

Sitting down each new and full moon will also help you to keep you accountable and in control of your own life. We may make new year's resolutions or set goals for ourselves, but rarely do we undertake the consistent work of transformation. Keeping a moon journal will help all that and by filling in the pages will help you to follow your dreams and stay in alignment with the direction you want to head in. Month by month, moon by moon, you will check in with yourself and where you currently are. And from there, set intentions, work towards achieving them and releasing whatever has stood in the way, reflecting, reviewing, refocusing, realigning and staying in a constant state of connection and flow in your life. Being with the energy of supportive women in the circles is a bonus and helps us process how we want to live our life in a safe and supportive sacred space.

Working with the magic of the moon and Lunar Living teaches us:

*self-care - showing us that there is a time to be and a time to do

*trust - in a guiding force and ancient wisdom and also in ourselves

*tuning in emotions - by allowing them to surface, so that we can become aware of them and what they are showing us

*taking back power - as we use the phases of the moon to create real change

*reconnecting - back to nature, others and a natural rhythm and cycle

*a cosmic timer - which helps us to stay accountable in making change and following dreams

*coming home to ourselves - month on month, the moon helps us to stop looking outside and turn our focus inwards

The journal I will be referring to in our monthly circles is "The Lunar Living Journal" by Kirsty Gallagher but any moon journal will do where you can write your answers down. Here's more info on the journal The Lunar Living Journal in case you're interested in purchasing (not a requirement).

"The moon is the feminine energy of the universe that connects us to our inner world, our intuition, dreams and the call of our souls."
