August's Sturgeon Supermoon is a time for all of us to take a step back and really appreciate everything. Supermoons occur because the Moon has a slightly elliptical orbit around earth. It could also be referred to as a super blue moon because the second August Full Moon will also be a Supermoon.
The first August Full Moon will be the full moon in Aquarius. This moon can have quite an emotionally detached quality to it, which makes it good for letting to of emotional attachments and anything that has been restricting you. This will help you break out of patterns of behaviors that no longer serve, and to release all that's not meant for you. This moon is here to help you seek your truth and find faith in where your journey is taking you.
